1. How do I access the embedded web configurator?

The Web configurator is configuration interface via user's web browser, which can be access by typing in the IP address of the G-4100 V2 in users web browser.  To access the G-4100 V2's web configurator via web browser, the configuration PC must be in the same IP segment of G-4100 V2 and G-4100 V2 must be reachable to the configuration station.

 
2. How do I change login account and password? 

The default Administrator Account's username is "admin" and can not be changed, the default password is 1234.  You can change the password once you enter the Web configuration menu under "SYSTEM TOOLS"->"SYSTEM ACCOUNT".  At the password screen type in the old password and the new password and retype to confirm than press "Apply" button to save the change.
 
3. How do I upload the firmware code via embedded web configurator?

The procedure for uploading firmware via embedded web configurator is as follows.

  1. Log on into the web configurator
  2. Press "SYSTEM TOOLS" from the left menu.
  3. Press "FIRMWARE" from the left menu.
  4. Press "browse" button and point to the directory where the firmware you want to upload is kept and press "Apply" button
  5. It will prompt you the firmware is upload successful and G-4100 V2 will reboot.

4. How do I upload or restore ROMFILE via web configurator? 

In some situations, you may need to upload the ROMFILE, restore to previous saved configuration.

The procedure for uploading ROMFILE via the web configurator is as follows.

  1. Log on into the Web Configurator
  2. Press "CONFIGURATION" from the left menu.
  3. Press "Browse" button under Restore item to point out the directory where the romfile you want to upload is stored.
  4. Press "Apply" button.

5. How do I backup configurations by using TFTP client program via LAN? 

  1. Use the TFTP server program in your PC.
  2. Type the TFTP server's(your PC) IP address under SYSTEM TOOLS -> CONFIGURATION -> Backup -> Remote TFTP serevr address.
  3. Type the File Name you want to backup.
  4. Press "Apply" button.
